… I think I am killing myself.

I drink and eat aspartame like it’s water. My sweet tooth just can’t get enough of this stuff and sugar has never cut it for me.

Aspartame is defined as “an artificial sweetener made from aspartic acid; used as a calorie-free sweetener.” In 1976 FDA approved aspartame in the use of foods, and later discovered that the researcher who submitted the work, “had cut out tumors in animals that had been fed aspartame and neglected to report all of them or check for cancer. Also, animals that were “reported as dead, were later reported alive again” In fact, I have discovered that people can get aspartame toxicity from this deadly chemical… not just from several cans of diet coke. Reports have shown that people have gotten aspartame toxicity through one single piece of sugar-free gum.

Symptoms include:

Eye

– blindness in one or both eyes
decreased vision and/or other eye problems such as: blurring, bright flashes, squiggly lines, tunnel vision, decreased night vision

increased susceptibility to infection

Aspartame may trigger, mimic, or cause the following illnesses:

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Epstein-Barr
Post-Polio Syndrome
Lyme Disease
Grave’s Disease
Meniere’s Disease
Alzheimer’s Disease
ALS
Epilepsy
Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
EMS
Hypothyroidism
Mercury sensitivity from Amalgam fillings
Fibromyalgia
Lupus
non-Hodgkins
Lymphoma
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)

So today has marked the first day of giving up aspartame. No more diet coke, crystal light, and sweet n’ low. There are thousands of other foods out there that contain this deadly chemical, but these are the few things I use constantly throughout my day.

For now I am attempting to stick to tea and splenda, although I have heard that splenda is just as bad. Maybe I should just cut out all artificial sweeteners together and replace my sweet drinks with water.

Obviously life is just too short to do that, so like all things, I will stick to moderation.

Good-bye to you. Good-bye to everything I knew. You were the one I loved, the one thing that I tried to hold onto
